If you have said that you have never felt jealousy, then you need to think again. Jealousy is one of those emotions that we are born with, and we eventually experience it at some point in our lives. The term, “The grass is always greener on the other side,” didn’t come from nowhere. The feeling of jealousy is even mentioned in ancient texts like the Bible. So, you can say that jealousy is simply our natural instinct. If someone has a better looking house, car, spouse, etc., it is totally normal to be feeling jealous. But as we grow up, we learn how to not only hide that jealousy, but channel it into something more positive. Basically that means that we learn how to understand our jealousy, and we decide whether to let our jealousy make us better people, or defeat us. Most people would choose the former and allow those feelings to let them grow into better human beings. However, that doesn’t meant that we’re all perfect. We slip eventually, and when we do, we hope there’s not a camera around.
