Charging over the border into South Korea isn’t an option for most people, and with good reason, so how do they manage to get to safety? Getting into China isn’t enough, and many find themselves traveling through Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand before finally making it to safety. You might be surprised to know that some people, like Charles Ryu, have gotten caught and brought back before finally succeeding in reaching the United States.
