Even though he was fictional, the stories created about him are so real that there are select individuals who are convinced that he’s like a god. The Slenderman legend was officially born on the internet in 2009. The original artist's name is Eric Knudson, and his work has inspired photo art, paintings, online video games, and even an upcoming movie. Amazingly enough, Slenderman is nothing more than a creative entity that was produced from the human mind. Had Eric Knudson lived centuries ago and came up with this idea, there’s a good chance that Slenderman would have become a mainstream legend.
