Life in the military means seeing the world, being away from friends and family, sacrificing personal life for work, and the list goes on. Within the military is a more elite and specialized small group; the Navy SEALs. Becoming a Navy SEAL is one of the most challenging things in the world. This elite special forces group doesn’t just let anyone in. They go on some of the most dangerous missions in the world. If they hesitate or even flinch for a moment, it makes a difference between going home alive or not going home at all. Navy SEALS are regarded as some of the toughest people in the world, and they have to stand out in their unit in order to be noticed and receive high regards. Even just the application process is complex and challenging, and that’s just the paperwork. Candidates have to go through a serious recruitment program where only 6% usually pass. SEAL recruits are put through a series of rigorous tests where not only are they physically challenged, but mentally challenged as well. Because this program is so elite, regular civilians are fascinated by the process. But once candidates pass their training, the hard work is only just beginning. There are sets of standards and rules that SEALs must follow every day of their military career in order to stick around. Some of the rules require physical fitness, mental awareness, moral high ground, and more. It’s rather interesting to see just what these elite special forces put their people through each day so that they can stay on top.
