Some of these laws are so interesting that you have to wonder what the story is behind them. There are some laws that make sense, even if they are weird. For example, Germany has actual “quiet times” set up. Now, you would usually find this in an apartment complex but not as a country-wide rule. Also, you have to be polite to police officers, and you could land yourself in hot water if you called them an informal name or pronoun.
